can anyone of you well versed saab fans let me know what turbo trykk i should have on my 2003 model saab 9-3 turbo 2,0l vector
and how much i can boost to before it becomes detrimental to the enginie maybe up to 1,2 bar??

Tuning questions should be posted in the tuning part of the forum; "Trimming". If you become a member, you'll be given access to it.
Your engine management system doesn't aim for a fixed boost pressure as boost is not a fixed parameter in the software. The Trionic 8 engine management system is quite sophisticated and determines the engine torque by airmass/combustion. The boost can therefore vary a bit depending on ambient conditions, as the Trionic 8 system aim for the same torque regardless of ambient conditions (within limits) to achieve the desired performance.
You can NOT manually increase the boost, this MUST be done through software modification. Attempts to trick the Trionic 8 system will result in a harsh running engine without increased performance, or in worst case engine failure.
